Job description

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 3 Teacher for a school in Telford for the upcoming Summer Term. The school is committed to providing a nurturing environment where every child can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

As a Year 3 Teacher, you will have the opportunity to play a key role in shaping the educational experiences of our students during the Summer Term. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and creating a supportive classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the Year 3 curriculum, incorporating a variety of teaching strategies and resources.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students and provide additional support or challenge as needed.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued, respected, and supported.
• Assess student progress through formative and summative assessment methods and provide feedback to students and parents.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behaviour, and academic achievement in accordance with school policies.
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing regular updates on student progress and achievements.

Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Previous experience teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably in Year 3 or a similar age group.
• Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum and experience in planning and delivering lessons.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
