We’re looking for a Line Leader to join our team in Spalding, Lincolnshire

Our line leaders work to a 4 on, 4 off, shift pattern.

As a Packhouse Line Leader at Westfalia Fruit UK, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient & timely production of our fresh fruit orders. Your responsibilities extend beyond meeting production targets to encompass motivating & leading a team, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene & safety, of yourself and others, and maintaining the quality of our product lines.

Responsibilities include:

• To ensure all orders are met in a timely manner.
• Ensuring all orders are presented in a suitable manner.
• Accurate Line sheet completion.
• Organising and motivating up to 20 people at any one time.
• Meeting production efficiency targets.
• Ensuring hygiene standards and policies are adhered to at all times.
• Ensuring the line is run within Westfalia Fruit Ltd Health & Safety guidelines.
• Monitoring and maintaining line quality standards.
• Ordering necessary fruit to the line.
• Organising the smooth running of lines and production flow.

Requirements

Essential

• Numerate
• Able to work under own initiative
• Good communication skills
• Good organisational skills
• Reliable and flexible approach to working hours
• Good motivation skills

Desirable

• Previous experience working within a similar environment of fresh produce is advantageous
• Prior experience of managing and motivating a team would be beneficial
