We are a highly successful Surrey prep school, providing all-round education and development enabling our pupils to achieve excellent outcomes, in terms of entry to fine senior schools, scholarships and awards and, most importantly of all, rounded characters, capability and confidence as young men. Set on a private estate near Kingston, you will be close to Richmond Park and the River Thames, yet within short travelling distance into central London.
We pride ourselves on the way in which we educate and support all our boys at Rokeby and we offer an inclusive learning environment. You will have a NASENCO qualification or hold a Level 5 dyslexia diploma, with the ability to manage a whole school approach to support boys aged 4 – 13 with a diverse range of learning needs. You will have previous experience of managing assessments, providing ongoing support, training teaching staff and liaising with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure individual needs are met. Knowledge and understanding of examination access arrangements, ideally with experience of 11+ is essential, as is experience of working with pupils with EAL; knowledge of the independent sector would be helpful. Exceptional organisational skills to maintain records and manage SEND administration are required.
