Join Our Team as a Mechanical Design Engineer!
My client is a manufacturer of water treatment equipment. They are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team near Walsall on a permanent basis.
Salary Range: £28,000 to £32,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the design and development of mechanical systems, components, and products
- Create detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and project managers
- Analyze and interpret test data to ensure product performance and reliability
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and advancements in mechanical design
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks) and other relevant design tools
- Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable
- Experience in designing and optimizing mechanical systems
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Effective communication and organizational skills
