Job description
We are actively recruiting for an Accounts Administrator with a leading accountancy firm based in Peterborough. The salary is negotiable and will of course depend on experience and qualification level, with benefits strong at this leading brand, plus great flexibility, hybrid working and competitive salary. The firm are keen to consider both part-time and full-time applications for this vacancy.
Responsibilities:
- The role will be a split role between accounts and administrative duties
- Accounts preparation
- Bank reconciliation
- Receipt notes
- Onboarding clients
- Invoicing and reconciling transactions
- Processing payments and preparing payment runs
- Dealing with client queries and being a point of contact for clients
- Covering reception duties including meeting and greeting clients and visitors
- General office administration duties such as filing, printing, copying, and answering emails and phone calls
Requirements:
- Proven experience within administration and a finance environment
- Strong knowledge with Microsoft Office
- Desirable – experience with any accounting software such as Xero, Sage, Dext, QuickBooks, and Iris
