OPERATIONAL FINANCE ADMINISTRATOR

WELLINGBOROUGH (HYBRID)

Arkle Finance are recruiting for a detail-oriented and proactive Operational Finance Administrator to join our Operations Department. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of financial processes, focusing on banking, fraud prevention, and payment processing.

Based in our Wellingborough head office, you will work fully onsite during training and probation (six months). On completion of probation you can then discuss hybrid working with your line manager.

WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE

• Manage and oversee the end-to-end banking process, including daily bank transfers, allocation of receivables, and liaising with financial institutions.
• Conduct thorough fraud and anti-money laundering checks on financial transactions and customer accounts to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Accurately process and record payments, ensuring timely and error-free transactions.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring accurate financial records.
• Handle BACs messages efficiently, updating mandates and account information as required to facilitate seamless payment processing.
• Monitor and reconcile direct debit payments, promptly addressing any bounces or discrepancies in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
• Manage RV guarantor relationships and provide reporting support to enhance our Operating lease processes.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Experience in an administrative role which involves a lot of processing and dealing with data, ideally withing finance or banking.
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite to include VLOOKUP in Excel.
• Completion or commitment to completing AAT exams, with funding provided by Arkle.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

IT WOULD BE NICE FOR YOU TO HAVE

• Experience in using financial software, particularly Alfa and Salesforce.
• Good working knowledge of FCA regulation.
