Your new role
- Lead manufacturing projects ensuring it stays within budget and meet the quality standards.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget estimates.
- Implement the most efficient and cost-effective production methods required to manufacture products.
- Coordinate and communicate with team members, contractors, and suppliers involved in the project.
- Analyse existing manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Propose and implement process enhancements, automation, and technology upgrades.
- Ensure manufacturing processes comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines.
- Develop and implement quality control measures to maintain product consistency and meet customer requirements.
- Identify any risks to the project and develop contingency plans.
- Maintain project documentation, including plans, progress reports, and technical specifications.
- Provide regular updates and reports to management on project status, milestones, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
What you'll need
- Degree in an engineering related subject
- 5 years experience in a similar position
- A proven track record of working on lean manufacturing and process improvement projects in a manufacturing setting
- Working knowledge of CAD
