Appointment of a Communications & Marketing Officer
(Full Time)

Salary Scale SCP: 18 to 23 (£29,269 to £32,076)
Plus Generous Local Government Average Salary Pension Scheme
Bridgwater Town Council is a progressive employer looking for a Communications & Marketing Officer to provide efficient and effective communications both externally and internally, to lead in creating and progressing the Council’s Communications strategy, to create and disseminate content, market the Council’s events and activities, organise promotions and to market the Council’s facilities to generate maximum income.
Areas of day-to-day responsibility include, drafting and issuing regular press releases, regularly uploading Council documents and items of public interest onto the Town Council’s website, to create a regular resident’s newsletter and on an ongoing basis prepare and collate items for the newsletter and, to maintain, administer and monitor the Town Council’s social media.
