Service User Group Facilitator Volunteer (Lancashire)
Last year Victim Support provided tailored support to 184,000 people. As a VS Peer Supporter, you can use your own lived experience to understand others and help them to overcome the impact of crime and navigate through the criminal justice system.

Volunteering with Victim Support in Lancashire
As a Volunteer in Lancashireyour role can include:
- Supporting victims of numerous crime types including anti-social behaviour, assault, harassment, stalking and fraud
- Facilitating zoom and in person support groups, presenting activities, signposting and providing information on additional support
Requirements for the Role
In order to join us as a Peer Supporter, you must:
- Be 18 years of age or over.
- Be able to volunteer for at least 4 hours per month, for at least 12 months.
- Undertake 25-30 hours of training.
- Be able to provide two references
Expenses
All Victim Support volunteers are entitled to out-of-pocket expenses incurred whilst volunteering, including travel and lunch.
