Are you an experienced Electrical Design Engineer with 3 years post-qualification experience or more working with a professional Building Design Consultancy?
My client is an award-winning M&E consultancy practice who specialise within the design of mechanical and electrical engineering services in buildings.
This consultancy have a strong presence throughout the UK and pride themselves on retaining their profile as one of the UK’s leading specialist M&E practices. As industry leaders they build upon this success year on year and as such are expanding their MEP team. They are long established experts in the field of mechanical and electrical design and have a reputation for consistently high standards in their design and professional briefs.
They are currently working with some industry leading architects within the Building Services Sector on some high-profile projects including prime accomodation, commercial as well as Data Centres. You will have the opportunity to join this team.
The team is now expanding and there is now an opening for an Electrical Design Engineer to join the established central Glasgow-based team to work on a number of projects.
The role of Electrical Design Engineer at this consultancy will include designing for sectors including further and higher education, healthcare, mixed-use developments, leisure, residential, MOD and hotel projects.
As an experienced Electrical Design Engineer, you will be able to bring your creative flair to projects and work on some truly inspirational designs. In return, this company will offer you a challenging and rewarding Building Services career within a modern and progressive consultancy.
• Assisting in the production of full building designs
• Client liaison and arranging of client meetings
• Assist in the management of project finances
• Development of Client relationships
• Specification writing
• Assisting with the appointing, coordinating and managing other consultants and contractors, both internally and externally
To be considered for this fantastic opportunity, it is essential that you have a minimum of 3 years post-qualification background in the Building Services field. In addition, you should be able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail and a be able to evidence a proven determination to succeed. You must also have excellent technical skills, good communication and IT skills.
