Job description
We are recruiting a Catering Assistant at Caerphilly County Borough Council.
Working hours: 7.5 Hours (1.5 Hours Monday-Friday)
Contract Type: Part Time /Term Time Only
Location: Islwyn High School, Oakdale
We pay an attractive salary of £12 Per Hour Real Living Wage and offer access to training and development opportunities.

The successful candidates will be working under the supervision of the Cook in Charge ensuring the lunch time service operates well. You will comply with our policies and ensure that food safety regulations are adhered to. You must be an effective communicator and will be expected to liaise with parents, pupils and the school successfully.
For the role, we ask that you have:
Level 2 Food Safety Or ability to undertake and achieve the qualification within 3 months of appointment.
Understands the role to perform duties effectively and efficiently.
Able to work at various sites throughout CCBC, to meet the needs of the service. Willingness to complete all relevant training.
