Job description

Education Links is a vibrant, student-focused alternative provision free school rated “Good” with outstanding features by Ofsted in July 2017, upheld by an ungraded inspection in 2022. Situated in East London, and across three sites, we are a specialist education provider working with young people at risk of permanent exclusion, or with special needs.

The successful candidate must possess a high degree of personal integrity and professionalism when dealing with sensitive information. Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to handle safeguarding and child protection matters in a sensitive manner are key requirements. Additionally, the ideal candidate should demonstrate resilience and the ability to navigate challenging situations with tact and empathy.

The Designated Safeguarding Lead is a full-time

You will be an outstanding practitioner and graduate, used to working with students who have challenges including SEMH, autism spectrum, speech and language and communication difficulties. You should be resilient and positive in your interactions with young people. You will be flexible, adaptable, and happy working in a dedicated team in an ever-changing and fast-moving environment.
