Job description

iO Associates is looking for an onsite EHS Lead , to work at the Broughton site for a global pioneer in the aerospace industry, operating in the commercial aircraft, helicopters, defence, and space sectors.

You would be responsible for overseeing the provision of comprehensive support to the Project Leaders, who are tasked with delivering crucial work packages.

Locations: Broughton, UK

Daily rate: up to £36 per hour Inside IR35

Working pattern: Onsite

A successful candidate will have:

• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.
• Follow health and safety guidelines and understand relevant laws and regulations well.
• Preferably, candidates with a Level 6 diploma like NEBOSH would get higher pay.
• If no Level 6 diploma holders apply, those with a recognized National Certificate like NEBOSH would get lower pay.
• Experience in machining is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with PUWER regulations.
• Facilitate and support risk assessments and the establishment of safe work systems.
• Aid with ergonomic assessments and support as well as Fire Risk Assessments
• Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and identify necessary statutory inspections.
• Ensure Impacts and Aspects studies are conducted.
• Develop and implement a safety training strategy tailored to compliance, policy, and production requirements.
