Skillsearch's client is looking for an Associate Design Director to join an AAA Studio in London. This full-time role comes with an excellent salary and benefits package, including hybrid working and flexible working options.

As an Associate Design Director at our client's games studio, you will assist the Design Director in driving the execution of the creative vision, helping to direct the design teams and the successful delivery of a product. You will represent and support the needs of the business, the player, and the team members’ needs on the project.

In your first few weeks in this Associate Design Director role, you can expect to:

• Oversee the creation and maintenance of documentation including the GDD and wiki pages 
• Manage, mentor, develop and coach Lead Game Designers. 

To apply for this Associate Design Director role, you will need a passion for making and playing games and extensive industry experience. You will also require the following:

• Shipped at least 1 AAA title in an equivalent role (current/last gen) working on it from start to finish 
• Shipped multiple titles in a leadership role, including the running of a multi-person design team 
• Experience delivering on the project goals, translating the high-level vision into actionable tasks across all disciplines within the team 
• Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
