Job description

Position: Design Engineer

Pay rate: £44 p/h inside IR35.

location: Broughton, UK

Role Type: Contract until Dec 2024 with extension

Position: Onsite

iO Associates is looking for a Design Engineer to work at the Broughton site for a global pioneer in the aerospace industry, operating in the commercial aircraft, helicopters, defense, and space sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead type design modifications, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Investigate design queries and address manufacturing non-conformance issues.
• Collaborate across functions to develop co-design solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and report critical technical issues while providing on-site build support.

Skills:

• Possess an Engineering Degree or equivalent qualification.
• Proficient in CATIA V5 software.
• Design Engineering experience within aerospace environment essential
