Are you a marketing communications professional looking to become a manager or head of in the future? This is your opportunity to mould and shape this role in your own direction…You’ll be joining a Mansfield-based organisation that offers a range of services which benefit the construction/trade sector.Your new role will focus on regularly collaborating with internal teams, executives and stakeholders, alongside conducting market research to support your outputs in creating attractive and informative copy content for a range of communication channels such as Website, Blogs, Press Releases, Newsletters, Internal Communication and Magazines for Print, additionally, leading as secretary for a roundtable group as you will be arranging and leading meetings, setting agendas, topics and presenting your findings to the stakeholders.

Your responsibilities:

• Write newsletters, blogs, and press releases
• Provide media management and other publicity activities
• Monitor proceedings and provide analysis of activities in Parliament, government departments, European institutions, political parties, local government, think tanks, pressure groups, non-governmental organisations.
• Read parliamentary publications and printed transcripts, and monitor other activities such as debates, questions, committee enquiries, statements, reports, regulations and legislation.
• Coordinate responses to key government consultations
• Review the effectiveness of previous activities, and how the business is viewed by political and other stakeholders
• Research, forecast and evaluate the effects of public policy on an organisation using public sources, political intelligence and personal contacts
• Provide support for committee meetings, working with meeting chairs to set agendas and follow up meeting actions and initiatives
• Work with Directors and senior management to establish and maintain two-way communication with relevant official bodies and stakeholders
• Maintain relationships with existing stakeholders and develop new business.

You will be expected to follow a working model of 5 days a week in the office in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire.This opportunity would suit an established Marketing Communications professional with a strong commercial awareness and copywriting ability, ideally experience in the Public or Educational Sector or Electrical sector.

You will need to demonstrate the ability to interact and cooperate at all levels and transform market research into clear and concise information.
