Job Overview

The Account Manager is responsible for winning new merchant clients and maintaining strong relationships with clients within a specific geographic area. This role involves understanding merchant needs, promoting Oiyaa products & services, and achieving sales targets. The Account Manager acts as a key point of contact between the company and its clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and driving revenue growth. This is a field based role and will involve phone calls, emails and face to face meetings.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales and Revenue Generation
• Establish positive relationships with new merchant prospects from a variety of business segments (e.g. takeaways, restaurants, shops, tradespeople) across your territory.
• Take ownership of signing up your merchant prospects and provide the Oiyaa Operations team with all the required information needed for merchants to be live on the Oiyaa platform.
• Meet or exceed sales targets set for the assigned territory.
• Execute Oiyaa sales strategies to expand the customer base and drive revenue growth.

2. After Sales & Support
• Support key business initiatives in your territory to drive consumer growth and bring Oiyaa consumers to merchants.
• Maintain client relationships and occasional visit clients to perform Oiyaa test transactions.

3. Reporting and Analysis
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, sales activities, and revenue forecasts.
• Analyse sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

4. Collaboration and Communication
• Coordinate with internal teams, including customer support, marketing, and product development, to address client needs and concerns.
• Provide feedback from clients to inform product/service enhancements and improvements.

Skills & Experience

• Proven track record in sales and account management.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.
• Knowledge of local businesses within the assigned territory is a plus.
• Willingness to travel within the territory as required.
• Full UK driving licence
