The Role
To lead and ensure a successful execution of the inbound operational functions.
Through our partnership profile and exciting growing mainline, the demand for Castore is seeing us partner with the biggest retailers in the market, as well as developing a distribution network on a global scale. As an Intake Lead you will play an integral role in helping us deliver against our ambitious growth targets in this hugely strategic channel for our business.
Responsibilities
·Previous experience tracking inbound freight ( Sea, Air, Road ) from global territories and receiving destinations
·Monitor and report on inbound delivery performance within agreed SLA’s
·Work closely with Supply Chain team, giving visibility of inbound deliveries to the 3PL
·Manage the inbound deliveries into the 3PL monitoring SLA’s
·Actively chase 3PL for delivery status
·Own and distribute DC bookings to wider team making sure everyone has visibility of this information
·Maintain accurate shipment information and visibility for wider team.
·Constantly driving for improvements and efficiencies.
·Be a key point of contact for queries, dealing professionally, efficiently and timely to resolve and problems relating to shipments, customs and deliveries.
·Daily management of the internal ERP
·3PL booking management
·Customs clearance in line with agreed SLA’s
Skills & Qualities
Essential Knowledge and Experience:
·Experience of working in a similar role
·Experience of inbound processes & local customs
·Ability to work cross-functionally, liaising with peer groups across the business to drive efficiencies and results
·Experience in preparing reports to continuously monitor and improve performance
·Ability to work to strict deadlines and be able to adapt to changes
·Comfortable in a fast-paced and ever-changing business environment
·Excellent planning and organisation skills
·Experience using ERP, WMS and Freight portals
·Flexible approach and willingness to further learn & adapt in a fast pace growing business
·Experience within a FMCG business preferable
·Computer literacy (Microsoft suite) Excel, Word, Outlook
