About Our Client

The client are a specialist distributor of industry related products and due to their continued growth are looking to recruit a part-qualified Management Accountant for this permanent and full-time office based role at their offices in Dagenham.

Job Description

• Supervision of accounts payable/receivable staff in both Ireland and the UK - currently 4 people in total
• Ensuring that accounts receivable are fully up to date in terms of debt collection
• Weekly/Monthly KPI reporting
• Involvement In Monthly Management Accounts process
  • Overview of all credit cards and posting of same
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Maintain Fixed Asset Register
  • Intercompany charges and reconciliations as required
  • Closing of ledgers in timely manner
  • Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Variance Analysis
• Assistance with preparation of board pack as required
• Involvement in Annual Budgeting process
• Filing of VAT returns and associated compliance
• Prepare audit file for auditors
  • Resolve audit queries
  • Post any subsequent audit adjustments
• Ad hoc duties as requested by line managers

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will be experienced in the duties listed above, be able to commute to the client offices for full-time work in Dagenham and be an excellent communicator and team player. You will have good excel skills and be confident leading on the responsibilites above to support the Finance Director.
