Job description

A client in the Ilford area seeks a live-out part-time carer who can assist their elderly loved one with daily routines and activities.

Working hours: Monday to Thursday, approximately 15 to 30 hours per week

Duties include:

• organising meals as well as the groceries for the client
• organising and taking the client to appointments
• helping with laundry and ironing
• changing bed linen and making beds
• assisting with bathing and personal grooming
• helping the client manage their budget, pay bills and write letters
• getting to know the client and their interests and needs
• giving emotional and practical support to the client
• food preparation, feeding and giving out medication

The carer will ideally start in the first week of November.
