De Vere Beaumont Estate set in Old Windsor has a magnificent Georgian manor house as its centrepiece and is our largest hotel estate with 429 bedrooms, 45 meeting & event spaces, and over 40 acres of grounds. Assistant Financial Controller
Would you like to contribute to the financial success of a large Hotel & Events venue? Join us an Assistant Financial Controller at De Vere Beaumont Estate.
As the Assistant Financial Controller, you will play a vital role in supporting the financial operations of De Vere Beaumont Estate. Working closely with the Financial Controller, you will assist in overseeing the day-to-day financial activities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting & forecasting, maintaining financial records and implementing financial controls.
Alongside the Financial Controller, General Manager and other Heads of Department you will be involved in the production of the hotel annual budget as well as producing the bi-weekly forecast with the General Manager as and when necessary.
The role of Assistant Financial Controller is a full-time role that involves working office hours, Monday to Friday, on site.
Your Skills and Experience:
- You will have purchase ledger experience gained in a financial role within the hospitality/events industry
- Knowledge and understanding of payroll/productivity for the events industry, and of wet and dry stocks
- Proficiency in using financial management software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- You have strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to problem solving
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to engage and develop other members of the team
- It would also be beneficial if you had a HOSPA qualification
