Maintenance Coordinator
Salary: £28-30k
Location Aylesford
Hours: Monday- Friday 8:30am-5pm ( 4pm finish on Fridays)
My well established drainage client who has recently become a part of a franchise is looking to expand their team and recruit a Maintenance Coordinator who will be working closing with the drainage manager and managing the drainage department. You will be working closely with your engineers and clients to schedule planning works. You will be coordinating over 200 jobs per month for the engineers.
My client has made £15Million profit in the last year and thrive throughout the colder and wetter periods of the year. You will be an independent and organised individual who can manage their time effectively to ensure all administrative duties are completed by the deadline..
Duties of the Maintenance Coordinator:
- Getting to know your drainage engineers and understanding their capabilities of which part of the business they service
- Have the ability to schedule and coordinate jobs, booking them in the works planner and updating your engineers on their day to day.
- Understanding postcode areas to ensure the drivers are not spending majority of their day driving instead of completing drainage duties.
- Gaining drainage reports from the engineers and finding out following steps.
- Using your strong communication skills to update your clients on drainage times and day they will be attending site.
- Prioritising workload and what reactive works need booking in first dependent on the severity and key account standard.
Requirements and experience of this Maintenance Coordinator:
- Proven experience scheduling routes or coordinating works
- Transferable skills from industries such as Logistics, FM, Construction etc
- Strong communication skills required
- Ability to prioritise workload
- Knowledge of postcodes and areas
- Bubbly personality required
