Position: Temporary English Teacher
Contract Duration: As soon as possible Monday to Friday
Axcis is seeking a dynamic and dedicated English teacher to provide maternity cover for the period September 2024 to February 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a vibrant and supportive high school community in Rainhill.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective English lessons for students in Years 7-11.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic achievement and personal development.
• Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
• Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development of the English curriculum.
• Attend departmental meetings and participate in school-wide initiatives.

Qualifications and Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a relevant degree in English or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching English to secondary school students (Years 7-11).
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning atmosphere.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
• A passion for fostering a love of literature and language within the student body.
