Job description

Driver Hire Southampton are currently recruiting for a Forklift Driver to work with one of our well-established clients specialising in general haulage. Our client is looking for a keen and ambitious individual who would like to progress into a Warehouse Supervisor role after being successful with all training.

About this role:

• 12-week temp to perm
• Monday to Friday
• Working hours are 11:00am till 9:00pm
• Loading and unloading of pallets from HGV vehicles
• Off- loading goods into the warehouse
• Allocating pallets into the warehouse racking
• Complete all relevant location documents
• Pallet wrapping
• Reviewing all incoming and outgoing goods

What we require from you as a Forklift Driver:

• Full and valid accredited forklift licence
• 2 years’ experience working in a warehouse environment
• Ability to work under pressure and complete tasks efficiently
• Own transport to commute to and from work
• IT literate- be able to use scanning systems, PDA’s etc
• Be able to load and unload vehicles with all types of goods
