Our client who are a global design consultancy, are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Principal Structural Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Principal Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in leading and managing complex structural engineering projects across various sectors, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and innovation. Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage structural engineering projects from concept through completion.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate structural solutions into overall project designs.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering high-quality solutions.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations to communicate project progress and outcomes.
• Develop and review engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, and other technical documents.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering a collaborative team environment.

Requirements:

• MEng or BEng in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
• Minimum 10 years of experience in structural engineering with a focus on project management and leadership roles.
• Experience of working on a wide variety of projects including residential, commercial and leisure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
