Salary up to £90k + Excellent Package
Market leading civil engineering contractor is looking for a Risk Manager to head up the risk management on a £100 million plus, major station project.
As the Risk Manager, your role will be instrumental in identifying, evaluating, and mitigating potential risks that could impact the project's timeline, budget, and quality. Your strategic foresight will be pivotal in safeguarding the project against unforeseen challenges, thereby securing its reputation for excellence.
The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in risk management within the construction or engineering sectors, underpinned by a track record of managing risks on large-scale projects. A deep understanding of industry standards and regulations, alongside a methodical approach to risk assessment, is essential. Proficiency in risk management software and tools will enhance your ability to deliver precise analyses and reports.
Your exceptional communication skills will enable you to liaise effectively with project teams, stakeholders, and external parties, fostering a culture of risk awareness and collaborative problem-solving. A professional qualification in risk management, such as IRM or PMI-RMP, is highly desirable, as is a degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
