Job Description
Reporting into the Plant Manager, the Maintenance Manager will initially lead a small team to build strong maintenance management systems and culture before growing the function.
Day to day responsibility will include:
- Manage and oversee all maintenance processes within the manufacturing facility
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency
- Ensure all equipment is functioning correctly and safely
- Coordinate and supervise the work of the maintenance team
- Comply with all health and safety regulations
- Manage maintenance budget and expenditure
- Identify and resolve any issues or disruptions to production
- Provide technical leadership and training to the maintenance team
The Successful Applicant
A successful Maintenance Manager should have:
- A relevant qualification in engineering (ideally electrical)
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Experience of leading and developing engineers
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Strong maintenance systems understanding
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
