Hours: Monday – Friday 08:00 – 4:30

Salary: £22,880 – £26,000 per year

Location: Chesterfield

Contract Type: Permanent / 20 Days (3 to be taken over the Christmas period) plus Bank Holidays

Due to continued growth and expansion we are currently looking to recruit a Machine Operative to join our client based in Chesterfield.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Machine operators perform general duties in the manufacture of metallic and semi-metallic gaskets
• Using a number of bespoke machinery prevalent to the gasket industry and also metal working equipment such as lathes, waterjet cutting and general hand tools

Experience and Skills:

• Experience of gasket manufacture would be advantageous
• However experience of metal working, in particular manual centre lathes would be sufficient
