• Manage the Fixed Assets Accountant.
• Business partnering for major capital projects, attending team meetings, providing advice, reports, governance and control.
• Manage the cash forecasting of capital on major projects and working closely with the treasury team understanding significant trends and movements.
• Responsibility for the financial modelling of capital proposals including DCF and payback models.
• Reviewing and providing financial sign off on capital expenditure proposals >£150k
• Oversight control of monthly & quarterly fixed asset reporting under us GAAP and IFRS. Including all reporting to Japan.
• Responsibility for forecasting P&L Depreciation.
• Responsibility for all aspects of fixed asset and capital accounting under relevant accounting standards (USGAAP and IFRS) including the calculation of capital accruals, accounting for acquisitions and disposals and depreciation accounting.
• Oversight and Responsibility for all aspects of Lease Accounting under relevant accounting standards (USGAAP and IFRS) including initial recognition, amortisation, interest expense and lease liability.

• Educational Attainment
• Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA)
• Experience of working with Sap Hana
• Experience of working on capital and fixed assets
• Excellent Excel skills
• Experience of Lease accounting under IFRS16
