Job Title: Year 1 Class Teacher

Salary: T1 – T6 (depending on experience) £30,000 - £41,333 per annum

Contract Type: Temporary contract to cover maternity leave

Required to start September 2024

The Governors and Head Teacher at Harwood Meadows CP School would like to appoint a committed class teacher to cover the maternity leave of a permanent member of staff in our Year 1 class.  The successful applicant will find themselves working alongside dedicated practitioners in classrooms where learning and enjoyment of the school day go hand in hand. Recent experience of working in key stage one and teaching phonics would be preferred, but applications are invited from all relevant teaching backgrounds/experience.

Applicants will need to:

· have outstanding teaching skills which motivate and inspire children;

· demonstrate a commitment to establishing high expectations and ensuring continuous progress and school improvement;

· engage in all aspects of school life;

· have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to develop effective relationships with parents and the wider school community.
