Recruit4Staff are pleased to be representing their client, a leading company in their search for a Electrician to work in their leading facility in Dudley.
For the successful Electrician our client is offering:- £37,000 per annum based on a 42 hour week (including the one Saturday in 3 required)
- Rotating shifts - Monday-Thursday 6am-2pm/ 1pm-9pm/ 8pm-6am
- Permanent role within a growing business
- Overtime opportunities paid at premium rates of Time and a Half & Double Time
- Weekly pay
- Hourly rates- 6am-2pm/ 1pm-9pm - £14.64 and 8pm-6am- £15.64
- Generous holiday allowance - 33 days holiday
- Automatic enrolment into our Group Pension Scheme, which currently has an employee and employer contribution of 3%.
- After 3 months service you will be entitled to death in service cover of 1X annual earnings
- After 3 months service you will also be entitled to membership of simply health, health care cash plan scheme, at no cost to you.
The Role - Electrical Engineer:- Installation work on both factory and process machinery.
- Fault find on 415v, 240v, 110v and 24vac and dc systems
- Follow CCT diagrams to aid fault finding.
- PLC, establish necessary input/output (no program facility)
- Fault find on OHC’s, Remote handsets, contactor function, fuses.
- DC drives/inverters basic knowledge would be an advantage
- Maintain high bay lighting replacement, repair and LED upgrade.
- Test emergency lighting and evacuation alarm system.
- Involved in CCT design and control panel building.
What our client is looking for in a Electrical Engineer:- Must possess Engineering experience within a Heavy Industrial/Steel processing plant- PREFFERED
- At least 3 years experience in this role or similar
- Steel Industry knowledge and experience preferred but not essential
- Hold suitable BTEC/ C&G in Electrical or Higher National Diploma Electrical Engineering or equivalent - PREFFERED
