Oxford Brookes University is looking to recruit an experienced and highly motivated Head of Global Recruitment.
Oxford Brookes is a global university with ambitions to increase our global footprint even further. Our new global engagement strategy is setting our ambitions for this area. The Global Recruitment Team plays a central and critical role in this. Its mission is to support a truly global experience within the University, in line with University strategy. The team:
● contributes to the internationalisation of the student experience
● delivers a number of internationally focused marketing and recruitment activities as part of the overall Global Recruitment Plan.
● has ambitions to expand our reach even further by targeting a wider range of markets and maximising our network of international representatives and key partners based overseas.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within the Global Recruitment Team within our Marketing, Recruitment and Engagement directorate.
Overall Purpose of the post of Head of Global Recruitment:
Reporting to the Director of Global Recruitment, the Head of Global Recruitment is a key leadership role with responsibility for leading the global recruitment team and driving the recruitment strategy. As part of Oxford Brookes Global within the Directorate of Marketing, Recruitment and Engagement, the Head of Global Recruitment is responsible for developing and implementing the recruitment strategy to enable the University to achieve its objectives. As a collaborative and visionary leader, the post holder will work alongside the Director of Global Recruitment to communicate and drive the recruitment strategy internally and externally.
You will also deputise for the Director of Global Recruitment as required.
Qualifications and Experience for the post of Head of Global Recruitment:
We want to hear from candidates who have;
● Have a strong track record in international student recruitment, and in delivering strategy to exceed targets
● Proven success in leading high-performing, remotely-based teams
● Exceptional leadership skills and the ability to communicate a clear vision
● Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder engagement to drive organisational change
● Experience in leading and delivering transformation in a fast-paced environment
● Experience of operating overseas and leading teams based in different international locations
● Experience of operating at senior levels and in senior committees
● Experience of large scale budget management.
