Music Service District Support Assistant (Tendring)

Permanent, Part Time

£22,361 per annum pro rata

Location: Tendring

Working Style: Operational field-based worker

Please note this is a part time position working 7 hours per week on Saturdays during term time (30 specified weeks per year).

The successful candidate will be expected to be on site at Manningtree High School for 5 hours on Saturday mornings with the remaining 2 hours completed remotely during the week.

Essex County Council (ECC) operates one of the largest Music Education Hubs in the UK through a grant from Arts Council England and has undergone significant transformational change recently to broaden and improve its offer to the young people of Essex.

Music Service Clerical Assistants will be expected to work closely with the District Lead to understand the requirements of the community provision, and actively engage with and support young people and members of the public who attend sessions to ensure the smooth running of the community provision.
