Woking (hybrid)
Full time, permanent
£25,000 – £28,000 per annum

The role
Our client is looking for a passionate HR Assistant to support their HR department. You will play a pivotal role in supporting various HR functions to help drive recruitment, employee engagement, staff welfare and the employee lifecycle. Your attention to detail and organisational skills are essential to ensure the smooth running of the department. Task and responsibilities include
- First line response for internal queries
- Deliver excellent customer service on a range of HR requirements, providing solutions, advice and support across the company
- Support the recruitment process by screening candidates, arranging interviews and providing administration support
- Onboarding and offboarding for starters and leavers
- Input and keep digital records up to date on the HR Management system
- Prepare reports and management information from HR data (e.g. sickness and holiday)
- Draft digital HR documentation for staff in relation to contract amendments
- Maintaining and coordinating all aspects of Health and Safety including First Aid and Fire Safety
- Minute taking for grievance, disciplinary and other HR related matters
- Keep up to date with business changes and HR legislation/legal policy and process changes relevant to the business
- Consistently support colleagues and collaborate within the team to achieve business goals
- Work with the HR team to maintain and develop the company’s culture and values as the business grows
- Assist the HR team with group wide staff welfare, including planning company events
- Support the HR team with any additional administration tasks
Required experience
- Minimum CIPD Level 3 qualified or equivalent
- Minimum 1 years experience in an HR role
- A natural “people person”
- Excellent organisational, administration and time management skills
- Flexible with the ability to multitask and prioritise
- Self motivated and able to work on own initiative and take ownership
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficient in G Suite or Microsoft packages
