Electrical Manager

Stoke-on-Trent

Up To £55,000

We are actively seeking an accomplished and skilled Electrical Department Manager to lead and manage our dynamic electrical team.

If you have a proven track record in electrical installation, project management, and team leadership, this is an exciting opportunity for you to shape the success and growth of our electrical department.

Responsibilities:

  1. Team Leadership:

    Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of electricians, technicians, and support staff.

    Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, promoting professional growth and development within the team.

  2. Project Management:

    Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of electrical projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

    Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to meet project goals.

  3. Quality Assurance:

    Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure the highest standards in electrical installations and maintenance.

    Review regular audits and inspections to uphold quality assurance.

  4. Regulatory Compliance:

    Stay abreast of electrical codes, standards, and regulations to ensure compliance in all areas of the electrical department.

    Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures.

  5. Budget Management:

    Develop and manage budgets for electrical projects/contracts, monitoring costs and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

    Provide financial oversight to ensure the department operates within allocated resources.

  6. Client Communication:

    Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their electrical needs and ensuring customer satisfaction.

    Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.

  7. Innovation and Technology Integration:

    Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends in all aspects of our electrical offering.

    Identify opportunities for innovation and technology integration within the department.

  8. Training and Development:

    Develop training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the electrical team.

    Promote continuous learning to keep the team updated on industry best practices.

Qualifications:

18th Edition electrical regulation certification,

2391 Inspection and Testing.

Proven experience in electrical installation, testing, rectification work, and project management.

Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams.

In-depth knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.

Excellent project management and organizational skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Electrical engineering degree.

Previous experience in a managerial role within an electrical department.

Familiarity with sustainable and energy-efficient electrical practices.
