SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Swanley
Salary: £77 - £90 per day
Start Date: Immediately
Contract: Short-term/Long-term – part-time or full-time

We at GSL Education Kent are currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to work across dynamic SEN schools located within Swanley. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who will inspire the next generation of young people.
Prior experience in supporting SEN children is desirable but not essential.
The appointed
SEN Teaching Assistant will be expected to:
- Establish a supportive, caring and secure relationship with the pupils, promoting self-esteem
- Support each child and their individual needs
- Assist the teacher with the planning, development and delivery of lessons
- Work as part of a team, challenging and supporting the progress of students
In order to be considered for the role, the candidate must: - Have the right to work in the UK
- Meet GSL’s safer recruitment background checks
- Have a Child Enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to apply for one
- Be committed to safeguarding
- Be adaptable, enthusiastic and enjoy working with young people of all backgrounds
