Relocation Package would be considered for the right candidate, our client requires somebody from an FMCG background.
For the successful Quality Manager, our client is offering;
- £55,000 to £60,000 P/A Salary
- Days position 8.30 AM to 5.00 PM Monday to Friday
- Permanent position

The Role - Quality Manager:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for one of our clients who is looking for an experienced Quality Manager to work within the Quality Assurance Department. This role reports directly to the site Managing Director and will be part of the Senior Management Team:
The purpose of the appointed Quality Manager is to lead the site-based quality department and be responsible for developing and executing quality practices, processes and policies. Manage, coach and mentor the team, ensuring high performance and professional development.
- Be responsible for quality assurance and quality management activities on site. Lead and oversee regulatory compliance as regards quality.
- Lead and manage the quality team. Contributes to improving the employee experience and works to strengthen the company culture. Drive and promote good leadership practices and value-based behavior.
- Be responsible for the development and implementation of quality control procedures, processes and tools.
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify root causes of defects and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with suppliers and customers to resolve quality issues and to improve quality.
- Support / manage tasks associated with the quality management systems (BRC and IoP) and EcoVardis submissions.
- Conduct internal and external quality audits and facilitate corrective actions when necessary.
- Promote quality awareness in the organization.
- Negotiate quality agreements with customers and support Sales agreements as regards quality topics.
What our client is looking for in a Quality Manager:
- Experience in management in an FMCG manufacturing environment
- High-Level Quality related qualifications in the food/packaging industry would be an advantage.
- Proven track record of implementing improvements across cross-functional teams.
- Experience in working as part of a team and a flexible approach to work is essential, including the ability to work flexibly when required in line with the business needs.
