Job Description
We’re at an exciting time in our growth and have identified the opportunity for an enthusiastic IT Apprentice to join the IT Support Team here at Air Charter Service. The ideal candidate will be someone who is looking to kick-start their career in IT and is keen to learn about all the different aspects of the profession. This will be a course full of variety such as:
- PC Architecture, Installation and Configuration
- Work on interesting IT related projects
- Troubleshooting, Preventative Maintenance and Networking Fundamentals
- Advanced Networking, Mobile and Peripheral Devices
- Perform routine system checks and backups
- OS Installation, Configuration, Maintenance and Automation
- Record issues and their resolution in logs
- Learn and apply new technologies under the supervision of senior staff
Full training and support will be provided and you will work towards achieving your IT Support Level 3 apprenticeship which will be delivered by our chosen training provider
Qualifications
- Professional manner with excellent communication skills
- Keen interest in pursuing a career in IT.
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn and develop
- Able to work under pressure, and to listen and interpret customer needs accurately and in a positive manner
- A problem-solving and analytical mindset
- Able to plan own time effectively
- The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate care and attention to detail whilst being polite and helpful with any support requests.
