Job description

We have a wonderful opportunity for a day-to-day Teaching Assistant in the Taunton area. As a TA with Axcis Education, you’ll get to choose your own working hours and placement, while still doing the most rewarding job in the world, and make a real difference to children’s learning.

We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic, flexible and adaptable to different settings, whether that be working one-to-one or with a small group. Some days may include helping a child or children with additional needs to really get the most from their education.

As a day-to-day Teaching Assistant, you can take back control of your work/life balance and pick up as many hours as you need. Candidates who really hit it off with a school or setting are often asked to come back time and time again as the stability and familiarity is such an amazing boost of confidence for children who need that support.
Any previous experience working with children or in a setting would be beneficial, but not mandatory. Candidates must have a valid DBS, preferably on the update service, or be willing to apply for one. Axcis Education offers competitive pay from £13.39 per hour, and take pride in having close relationships with our settings to find the best fit for our candidates and the children they’ll be supporting.
