Job description
Ibstock Place School is seeking to appoint a Spanish Language Assistant from 26 August 2024 until 30 June 2025 to join a large, friendly and experienced department with a track record of very strong examination results.
The successful candidate will have Spanish as a mother-tongue, with very good English and a good knowledge of Hispanic culture and current affairs.
You will work closely with Teachers of Spanish, the Head of Spanish and the Head of Languages.
Your main role will be conducting small-group Spanish conversation sessions with pupils, mainly, but not exclusively, from years 10 to 13.
Your aim will be to help to ‘bring the language to life’ for pupils, foster enthusiasm for the language and improve pupils’ fluency and confidence.
