Job Overview:
Coordination duties related to the day to day running of the Surrey Cricket Foundation Schools and Children’s programmes within London.
General Duties:
- Provide administrative support for the Cricket Participation Manager (London) in the delivery of the department’s Schools & Children’s programmes as required.
- Main areas of work within this role:
- Lead the administration and delivery of the Foundation’s Chance to Shine Schools programme within London Boroughs covered by Surrey, especially focussed on schools with 40% of students on free school meals.
- Lead the administration and delivery of the Foundation’s Dynamos Primary School Leagues
- Support with the Administration and project coordination of our Street Stars 5-8 year old Programmes.
- Assist the Cricket Participation Manager (London) with the day-to-day financial requirements of the cricket development department
- Be responsible for the collation of information and communication to the relevant parties
- Deliver good news stories, case studies and relevant information for the Foundation’s website and social media channels.
- Support in the delivery of all key Surrey Cricket Foundation events
- Carry out other duties and responsibilities of a similar nature to those described above, which may be allocated from time to time as directed by the Cricket Participation Manager (London)
- Responsible for the ongoing monitoring and reporting of all aspects of your work programmes to include completion of monthly activity reports for submission to relevant Committees at SCCC and SCF
- Any additional administration that is created through the role
- Ongoing and effective diary management
Requirements
The successful candidate will have the following experience/skill/qualities:

- 1 year of experience in a similar role, either paid or voluntary
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Ability to respond to tight deadlines
- Strong communicator who works well in a team
- Ability to learn quickly and a ‘can do’ attitude
- Good Computer literacy, including MS Office
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to use their initiative
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Some flexibility around working hours will be required including evenings
- Knowledge of social media, website management, online booking systems
- Comfortable with co-ordinating diaries for coaches
- Confidence in payroll systems
- Experience of co-ordinating events :
- Knowledge of Chance to Shine, All Stars and Dynamos Cricket national programmes
- Experience in communicating with state primary schools
- Experience of overseeing casual coaches
- Clean driving licence
Satisfactory ECB DBS Check, First Aid, Safeguarding and the right to work in the UK
