Description
Key responsibilities of the successful Financial Accountant:
- Preparation of monthly financial reports and statements
- Managing the company's general ledger and ensuring financial integrity
- Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets
- Performing account reconciliations
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Collaborating with the wider finance team to improve financial processes
- Supporting internal and external audits
- Ad hoc financial projects as required
Profile
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
- An accounting degree or similar qualification
- Previous experience in a similar financial accounting role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
