Job Title: Teacher of MFL
Location: Braintree
Salary: £110 - £230 per day
Start Date: Immediately
Contract Type: Full-time

Are you passionate about unlocking the world through language and culture? We are currently seeking dynamic and dedicated Teachers of Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) to join our secondary schools in Braintree. As a Teacher of MFL, you will have the opportunity to inspire students with the beauty and richness of languages from around the globe.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging and interactive MFL lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students.
  • Teach one or more languages, such as French, Spanish, German, or any other languages offered by the school, with enthusiasm and expertise.
  • Explore cultural aspects of the target language(s), fostering an appreciation for different customs, traditions, and perspectives.
  • Provide opportunities for students to develop their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in the target language(s) through a variety of activities and resources.
  • Utilize technology and multimedia resources to enhance language learning and make lessons stimulating and relevant.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and support to help them achieve their linguistic and academic goals.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialism in Modern Foreign Languages.
  • Strong proficiency in one or more languages, with a passion for sharing language and culture with others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students to become confident and competent language learners.
  • Experience teaching MFL at the secondary level, with knowledge of relevant examination specifications and assessment criteria.
  • Commitment to promoting multilingualism and intercultural understanding within the school community.
  • Willingness to contribute to extracurricular language activities and cultural events.
