***Warehouse Team Manager***
***Permanent Role***
First Call Contract Services are looking to recruit a Warehouse Team Manager for our clients busy warehouse operations based in Rochester, ME3, covering thier night operations.
This role is being recruited for on a permanent basis for a nationally recognised company.
This role would suit a current Warehouse Supervisor looking to move into their first management position, or a current Logistics or Warehouse Manager looking for a new challenge.
Candidate duties will include:
- To actively support continuous improvement activities & adopt the ground up approach with all colleagues
- To be responsible for the Health and Safety ensuring all tasks are carried out to the relevant procedures and by adhering to safe working practices at all times.
- Ensure a high level of communication between colleagues and management is maintained and information flow is of the highest standard
- Ensure contractual customer service levels through the efficient running of the warehouse operation
- Managing productivity and absence of warehouse colleagues
- Ensure senior management are kept informed of all operational issues,
- Briefing the team at the beginning of each shift, to ensure that all operatives are fully communicated with about work patterns for the day
- Train and develop operational staff
- Supporting the warehouse team which is up to 20 staff per shift
Other experience needed:
- Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and work under strict timescales
- Confident and enthusiastic with a desire to learn and develop through continuous training
- Experience of working with Information Management Systems and associated IT hardware advantageous
- Excellent communication skills
Starting salary : 36.9k to 39.6k + excellent company benefits
Hours of work : Sunday to Thursday 10pm to 6am.
