Salary: £65 - £72,000 a year plus bonus package

Responsibilities

An exciting opportunity has come available to be part of our organisation for our Yorkshire Centred Care Homes.

We are currently seeking a Care Home Operational Manager to oversee our Nursing Care Homes. This role will cover the Yorshire area down to Nottingham. If you are passionate about elderly care and have extensive experience in care and nursing home environments, looking for a dynamic role within a growing organisation then please apply soon.

Key Responsibilities

• To line-manage home managers (HM)
• Provide direct support to the HM encouraging a culture of excellent client care
• To oversee and support the HM with essential business management and performance
• Maintain and support the HM in adhering to agreed budgets and quality assurance
• Maintain and develop key communications with stakeholders

Qualifications and Skills

Personal Abilities and Attributes You will possess the following skills and experience:

• Previous management/supervisory experience
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• A good working knowledge of the relevant policies, procedures & legislation relating to adult social care.
• Experience of care planning
• Genuine interest in working with the relevant Client group
• Previous experience of managing a care home or a Nurse at managerial level and who is registered with the NMC.
• Satisfactory DBS check and check against the POVA List (where applicable)
• Experience managing and working to budgets
