Specialist Occupational Therapist

Location: Brecon

Contract Type: 3 months with view to extend

Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Specialist Occupational Therapist to join our client in Brecon on a temporary basis for an initial period of 3 months. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality occupational therapy services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify individual needs and develop personalised treatment plans.
• Implement and evaluate therapeutic interventions to enhance patients' independence and quality of life.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress.
• Provide support and education to patients, families, and caregivers.

Requirements:

• Valid registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and caseloads.

Additional Information:

Ward-based role with access to a pool car as required.
