Maintenance Engineer – Responsibilities include:

• Electrical and mechanical diagnostic/fault finding techniques and the application of remedial work in a breakdown situation.
• Electrical/mechanical competences are required. Welding, basic machining, and fabrication skills are useful to enable the engineer to carry out various “general maintenance” tasks within the engineering field.
• Root cause analysis carried out on line performance and stoppages
• TPM
• Production line monitoring
• H&S checks and equipment compliant, in place and working
• Recording tasks and store withdrawals, complying with all quality system requirements, and raising non-conformities where necessary.
• Preparation, tidiness and cleanliness of work areas and stores are maintained.
• Follow a “clean as you go” policy – always keeping the work area tidy and ensure that this is respected/followed by other members of the team.
• Ensure all company procedures are followed and implemented

Maintenance Engineer – Desirables include:

• Mechanical experience (70%)
• Electrical experience (30%)
• HACCP / Food Safety qualification
• Engineering Degree

Maintenance Engineer Schedule- 4 on / 4 off rotating days and nights or 4 on 4 off strict nights
