We are looking for someone with experience in purchasing and materials control ideally in a manufacturing or engineering setting.

Are you a dynamic multitasker with a knack for efficient purchasing processes if so we're seeking a skilled Materials Controller to join our Clients team. 

As a pivotal member of teh team, you'll spearhead the seamless coordination of purchasing activities across various divisions. Collaborating closely with departments like Accounts, Sales Admin, Service, and Production, you'll ensure our stock management aligns with business priorities.

As the sole materials Controller you'll own the end-to-end administration of our purchasing process for all our clients business activities.

If you're equipped with:

• Proven experience in purchasing administration and supplier liaison
• Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment
• Proficiency in spreadsheet management and software systems, especially Excel
• Stellar communication skills and a professional demeanor

Your responsibilities will include:

• Collating purchase orders for materials, goods, and supplies
• Reviewing inventories and maintaining optimal stock levels
• Building strong relationships with suppliers for smooth order processing
• Maintaining accurate supplier and component records
• Tracking order status and resolving delivery queries
• Managing return goods and resolving stock discrepancies
• Identifying potential new suppliers and researching cost-saving options
