Level 3 Nursery Nurse / EYFS Practitioner
The Headteacher of a reputable Primary School in Preston are looking for a experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their oversubscribed Nursery Class within the school. This is a full-time opportunity working alongside professionals who are passionate about working within Early Years. This is a new role in school and is due to begin from 15th April 2024. The working hours for this role are 8:30-15:30 Monday-Friday term time only. This role has been created as a result of an increase in pupil numbers. Senior Leaders and staff pride themselves in having positive relationships with parents and the wider community. This is a lovely welcoming community school and the Headteacher is driven to provide a stimulating and creative learning environment for our youngest pupils. The school boasts excellent facilities for continuous provision and a newly refurbished out-door learning area.

Continuous Professional Development (CPD):
In addition, the Headteacher is passionate about life-long learning and encourages all staff to participate in CPD. As part of this role, EYFS practitioners will have access to the following CPD: Strategies for Effective Reading and Learning, Social and Emotional Learning, Understanding Extreme Behaviours & Strategies to overcome Barriers to Learning, Supporting SEND Learners in the Classroom, Being an Exceptional Learning Support Worker, SEND, Block and Art Therapeutic Interventions, Tracking Pupil Progress & Attainment, and Level 2 Safeguarding Children Course.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
