Casual Teacher – Social Media Marketing (Evenings)

Salary:  Qualified Teacher- £21.05 per hour

Unqualified Teacher- £16.67 per hour

Location: Harlow.

Do you want to earn some additional income or thinking about getting into teaching?

Harlow College is currently looking for dynamic and inspirational individuals to support adult learners with the development of specific vocational skills and knowledge to enable them to gain new expertise and progress their careers.

We are looking for industry experts or experienced teachers/trainers to deliver evening classes to adult learners covering Level 2 Social Media Marketing

Are you an imaginative storyteller with a deep love for social media, photography, and videography? If you have a Passion for captivating audiences, fostering brand loyalty, and staying at the forefront of digital trends, we want to hear from you!

Our social media marketing course is all about helping people realise their dream of running their own business. Students range from people just starting out, to those who need a helping hand promoting an established business and taking it to the next level.

Whilst a knowledge of business is not essential, people skills are, as are the skills required to help students develop a website using existing templates, establish a presence online, growing a brand, and the video and editing skills to shoot and edit original content for social media.

Previous students have graduated from the course with the tools and confidence they needed to turn their dream of running their own business into a reality.

This is a truly unique opportunity to help make a difference to peoples’ lives.

You would need to be able to deliver the following areas:

Courses will be delivered over 1 evening a week and between 5.30 and 8.30pm.

The Professional Training team deliver a wide range of evening courses that are aimed at helping adults gain the knowledge and skills to retrain or progress further in their career. We work closely with local employers and other partners to run courses that are tailored to the current labour market. These can range from development of core skills specifically related to the vocational sector the qualification sits in as well as the practical skills required to work within the industry.

These courses are delivered via face-to-face classroom teaching as well as virtually in an online classroom. The successful candidate will be required to have a flexible approach to working, as courses will be delivered during the evening either from Harlow College campus or Stansted Airport College.
